For this assignment I used the songs " Safe and Sound " " I Knew You Were Trouble " "Begin Again" by Taylor Swift. While recording this assignment I had to use everything I knew in order for it to come out good. I used the tools in this order because I thought it would sound interesting. While using the EQ knobs I first turned up the high then I turned off the mid and turned up the low. Then I turned off the high. Some of the difficulties I faced was deciding when to use each tool.

Mixxx Assignment 9: Sampling

The song I used for this assignment was " One more night " by Maroon 5. I decide to put some noises like rain, thunder, crickets and gun shots. I decided to put all this because i was imagining a man inside his car listening to music on a rainy day outside and then the music stops and he gets shot. I learned that you can make the sound louder than the song if you want to.

MIxxx Assignment 8: Scratching

The song I used for this assignment was " Die Young " by Ke$ha. While recording this I decided to turn back and forward the waveformoverview because i thought it would sound interesting.          

Mixxx Assignment7: Pitch Control Slider

The song I used for this assignment was " Perfect Two " by Auburn. What I did in the beginning was turn up the Pitch Control Slider all the way up to 6.57 then I was listening to it and thought it sounded plain so then I turned up the LFO and Depth and turned down the Delay. Then I just left it like that until the end because I thought it sounded good. What the Pitch Control Slider does is make the voice sound higher or lower and that's what i learned about this assignment.

Mixxx Assignment 6: FX

The song I used for this recording was "Kiss me" by Ed Sheeran. At first I begun by turning the LFO all the way up and the Depth and Delay all the way down. Then I turned down the LFO all the way down and the Depth and  Delay all the way up. Then I turned the the LFO all the way up again. Then I kept on turning the Depth up and down so I can make it sound interesting. Then I turned the LFO. Depth, and Delay all the way down. Then I repeated the same thing as I did before where I kept on turning up and down the Depth because I thought it would sound nice with the song. Finally I turned the LFO and Delay all the way up.

Mixxx Assignment 5 : EQ

The song i used for this assignment was " Girl on Fire " by Alicia Keys. What i did first was turn the High and Mid  EQ all the way down to make it sound in a low pitch. Then i turned up the High EQ all the way. Then i turned down the High and Low all the way down. Then i turned back on the Low EQ to make it sound different. Then i turned the Mid all the way down and the High all the way up. Then i finnally turn up all the EQ.

Mixxx Assignment 4:Balance and Volume

The title of the song I used in this assignment is called "So in Love with you" by Barack Obama ft Al Green . What I did in this assignment was use the volume and balance buttons to change from which headphone the song will travel to and how loud it can be. What I learned from this assignment was that you can change from which headphone it travel to  and how you can control the volume of the song.

Mixxx Assignment 3: Beatmatching

What I did here was record two songs playing at the same time. I went from one song to another so I can make it sound interesting. A DJ can use this by making the song sound better and make the original songs sound different then what they already do.

Mixxx Assignment 2: Loops

For the first recording the length of the loop was 4 and for the second one the length was 2. I decided to put the loops were they are at because the sounded good. The original name of the song is called Lego House by ed Sheeran.

Mixxx Assignment 1

The song i used is called so in love with you by Barack Obama ft Al Green. During this assignment I learned how to record a song and how to play around with it and make it sound different. Some of the struggles I faced was that I didn't know how to keep track of how long I recorded it so i had to keep on recording till it was at-least 3 minutes long. Finally i got by timing myself with the clock.

For the application Mixxx I didn't have to pay anything to download it. This application is very easy to use . What I am planning to do with it later on is play with the music I downloaded and make it sound weird. below is a screenshot of me using both channels.

3. It was started by Aaron in early 2005. 291 and countless others contribute to it. It's free. 
4.  The operating systems that work with Banshee are listed to the right.
5. When I downloaded Banshee it took less time to download.
6. I clicked Media then import media the I clicked choose folders after that I clicked  the account and then music then I imported it. No not all songs play.
7.  The file does not play with neither iTunes or Banshee.
8. Both iTunes and banshee play music they both have recent played and they both have the recent added.
9. iTunes has the app store and Banshee doesn't. Another thing different about iTunes and Banshee is that iTunes can play videos and Banshee can't. Also iTunes can download pod casts. 
10. I like iTunes more because it has more programs.

So i'm doing my musician paragraph on Rihanna. Rihanna official website is  Rihanna Now. 

The style of music she's in is R&B and Pop. Her latest album is Talk That Talk. Her most recent performance was in Baku, Azerbaijan in T. Bakhramov Stadium. The reason why I like this musician is because she has catchy songs.
